Android Tablets

ui design · ux design

UI and UX design for the Now Playing screen of the TuneIn Android tablet product. We wanted the designs to remain cohesive across devices and give the users access to their favorites, recents and related information with just one touch. Keep it simple, clean and easy to use. UI and UX for the Sign Up flow of the TuneIn Android product. I'm particularly proud of this because it is not high profile, however was a difficult problem to solve. Android tablet sign up flows, in landscape, are notoriously broken much of the time. I came up with a new pattern, putting fields side by side, that solved many of the problems people faced with available space on tablets. This has proved to be highly successful in all user testing and increased user sign up completion rates. UX for the Live Feed screen of the TuneIn Android product. My job was to create the same user experience on Android products as we had designed for the iPad.

UI and UX for the Browse screen of the TuneIn Android product. The engineering team was focusing on bringing in fragments to the codebase - one of the resulting benefits of this code change was bringing the root pivot browse list to the sidebar where it could be accessed at all times.
